We trade under the name Ava Payments. Ava Payments operates as an independent introducer of card payment services. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and we are not a bank.
Our role is to help businesses compare the cost of accepting card payments and, where appropriate, to introduce them to a regulated partner provider. Card acquiring, terminals, business accounts and funding are provided by those regulated partner providers under their own terms and conditions, and are subject to their eligibility and credit checks. When you take a product, your agreement is with the relevant provider, who is responsible for the regulated product and for the way it is regulated.
Nothing on this website is regulated financial advice or a personal recommendation. The information we provide is general in nature and is intended to help you make your own decision.
We want to be open about how our business works. Ava Payments is free for you to use, and there is no charge for a quote or for using the Fee Saver tool. We do not currently receive any commission or fee based on which provider you choose, so the recommendations we give you are not influenced by payment.
This means the shortlist we show you is chosen to suit your business, not us. If the way we are funded ever changes, we will update this page and make it clear before it could affect any recommendation we give you. You are always free to compare our figures against your own research before you decide whether to go ahead.
We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free. Rates, offers and product details can change, and the final terms of any product are set by the relevant partner provider. You should not rely on the content of this site as your only source of information when making a decision.
Our free Fee Saver tool uses an automated system to read a card-processing or merchant statement that you upload and to estimate your effective rate and fee breakdown. The results are an estimate for information only and are not financial advice or a formal quote. Because the figures are read from the document you provide, you should check them against your own records. We explain how uploaded statements are processed, anonymised and not retained in our Privacy Policy, and the terms that apply to the tool are set out in our Terms of Use.
Any product names, logos and brands belonging to partner providers or other third parties are the property of their respective owners. Where we refer to them, we do so only to identify the relevant products and services. Their use does not imply any endorsement of Ava Payments by those owners.
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, and we aim to meet reasonable accessibility standards in how it is designed and written. We know we will not always get everything right. If you have difficulty using any part of this site, or you need information in a different format, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
